Our health insurance plans
Our health insurance plans ensure that you and your family have access to quality medical care. The four plans cover a wide range of medical services, including doctor visits, hospital stays, surgeries, and emergency care. Annual check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings are available at no additional cost to help you stay healthy.
Our health insurance plan's claims are processed by Auxiant and it utilizes the Aetna Signature network. This network provides you and your family access to a broad network of doctors, specialists, and hospitals.

Waiving Employer Health Coverage
If you choose not to enroll in the medical plans offered by KAP, please keep the following in mind:
- You may decline coverage for yourself, your spouse, your children, or your entire household.
- If you waive coverage, you generally will not qualify for financial help (subsidies) through the Health Insurance Marketplace.
- However, your spouse and tax-dependent children may qualify for subsidized Marketplace coverage.
- If you decline coverage now, you will not be able to enroll again until the next open enrollment period — unless you experience a qualifying life event (such as marriage, birth of a child, or loss of other coverage).

We’re excited to introduce Auxiant as our third-party administrator (TPA) for our medical benefits plan! Auxiant specializes in administering self-funded health plans, a unique approach that allows us to manage our employees' plans directly, instead of paying premiums to a traditional insurance provider. With self-funding, our goal is to gain more control over healthcare costs and provide customized, responsive benefits that better meet our team’s needs. Auxiant will handle claims processing and administrative services for our plan, giving you a seamless experience while helping us manage costs effectively. Auxiant provides dedicated claims examiners that are ready to support KAP and guide us through our healthcare needs. This partnership with Auxiant allows us to offer a high level of service and transparency; while making sure your health benefits are managed by experts you can trust.
