Annual Enrollment

Annual enrollment is the designated period each year when you can review and make changes to your benefit plans or dependent coverage. Once this period ends, you cannot make changes to your benefits unless you experience a qualifying life event (QLE), such as marriage, birth of a child, or loss of other coverage.

Who is eligible for benefits?

You are eligible if you are an active full-time employee working 30 or more hours per week.

Eligible dependents:

  • Legal Spouse
  • Domestic Partner
  • Dependent children up to age 26

Eligible dependent children include:

  • Natural Children
  • Stepchildren
  • Legally adopted children
  • Children placed for adoption
  • Any other child for whom the employee has permanent legal custody

When is my Coverage Effective:

If you are a new employee, benefits become effective on your date of hire.

Open Enrollment elections will be effective starting January 1st each year.

How do I enroll?

Enrollment

You will receive a Benefits video as well as ADP instructions to complete your enrollment. Q&A sessions are held on a bi-weekly basis so please review your benefits and bring your questions and attend those meetings if needed. Our benefit experts will be on the call and can assist so you can make informed decisions regarding your benefits.

Changing your benefits?

Outside of annual enrollment, you may be able to enroll or make changes to your benefit elections if you eperience a qualifying life event (QLE) including:

  • Marriage
  • Divorce
  • Birth or adoption of a child
  • Placement for adoption
  • Death
  • Decrease in work hours
  • Loss or gain of other coverage

To request a change, notify your Human Resource Department within 30 days of the qualifying event. Any change must be consistent with the event.
